Sun, Smiles, and New Memories: The Rodgers Foundation Helps Grant Baila’s Wish with Make-A-Wish

Make-A-Wish does something simple and powerful: they give kids facing serious illness something to look forward to, something that feels like light in the middle of everything heavy. We’re proud to support that mission, and to help make a wish happen when it matters most.

This time, that wish belonged to Baila. She’s 9 years old and fighting cancer. What she wanted wasn’t complicated. She wanted a family vacation in Florida, a warm place where she could go swimming every day and take bike rides near the water.

Baila had been to Boca Raton once when she was six, and it stayed with her. She wanted to go back, not for a big reason, just because it felt happy. Because it felt normal. Because it sounded like a place where she could be a kid again.

The Rodgers Foundation paid for Baila’s wish trip so she and her family could step away from hospitals, appointments, and the constant stress that comes with treatment, even if it was only for a little while. A vacation can’t erase what they’re going through, but it can give them something real: time together that isn’t centered around cancer.

We’re grateful to Make-A-Wish for the care they bring to every child and every family, and we’re honored we could be part of giving Baila this moment.
